Dads Army

I have finally finished the dads army box set from Warlord Games

They are cracking little figures and I think they capture the characters from the TV series! Not sure my painting is up to the level of the sculpting but they do look the part.

There was a lot of black to paint and hopefully I haven't over done it, its way too easy to grey it down to much. I'm not sure about the bases they dont quite look right! but hopefully the focus is on the figures rather than the base's.
So thanks for looking
 cheers for now Russ

  3. Fantastic Russ! I have just started on some Foundry HG fig's. If they turn out okay I will make a start on my set of Dad's Army that I have had for several years now. I will be back here for some tips!

    1. Thanks you for the kind words. The pinstripe on the figures was the hardest part to get right! Although after painting my tiger zouaves last year I think it helped a lot

    1. BB, I dont think I have ever worried so much as I have with these little fellas! I didn't want to botch them, or do them an in justice with my brushwork. From the responces I'm guessing I did them proud.
